Global Forest Resources: Sustain your Forest

Global Forest Resources was established to help manage forests sustainably, create markets for environmentally friendly goods, and provide a source of income for conventional commodities producers. We do Carbon asset management to better the situation of forests and plan accordingly. Carbon management is a massive part of Forest Management.

Forest Management is the interactive process of making plans and implementing practices for the conservation (i.e., wise use and management) of forests to meet specific environmental, financial, social, and cultural goals. In terms of the global carbon cycle, soils carbon is a carbon sink that contributes to biogeochemistry, the mitigation of climate change, and the development of global climate models.

It is a large field of administrative, monetary, social, and technical elements related to the formation, growth, and maintenance of groups of trees known as "stands." Various levels of purposeful human intervention in the world's forest ecosystems could be part of forest management.

These thoughtful and deliberate interventions may include preserving (acting to maintain an ecosystem in a permanent and static state), and conservation (manipulating the forest environment in ways that perpetuate not just the forest ecosystem, but also the human environment).

All forests on Earth can be managed sustainably if we only harvest the amount that can be replenished over time. This is a concept that is still evolving, but it is something that all forest managers should aim for. Doing so will maintain the economic, social, and environmental values of all types of forests, benefiting present and future generations.

We at Global Forest Resources believe that forests are a very important part of our planet, and we take our responsibility very seriously. We promote sustainable forestry practices that take into account the many different aspects of forest management. We also believe that the key to adapting forests to climate change is to build a greater diversity of species into their structure and composition. By doing this, we can ensure that forests continue to provide benefits to present and future generations.
